Ayurveda Body Treatments on the Residential Part of the Programme:

Ayurveda body treatments are far more than a massage. They are therapeutic treatments which detoxify, stimulate or calm, strengthen and rejuvenate the body and mind.

On the Ayurveda Rejuvenation Programme they include the use of healing herabalised oils and finely ground herbal powders, herbal pastes and poultices, and skin nourishers.

The application of herbal oils to the body is a prized treatment in Ayurveda giving incredible benefits which you can read about here.  The treatments reach ways beyond the muscles, benefitting the internal body systems, the mind and emotions.

Your personalised programme of body treatments will be agreed during your initial Ayurveda consultation.

How You Will Prepare for the Residential Programme:

Before the programme begins you will be invited to an in-person or online 1-1 Consultation with Sara.

From the findings of this consultation, Sara will create your personalised Rejuvenation Programme dietary, herbal and body treatment prescriptions.

You will then receive a manual, shopping lists, and instructional videos to support you with foods and daily routine through the first three days of the programme.

On days 1-3 of the programme, you will follow the manual and recipes to prepare body and mind for the cleanse and rejuvenate 5-day programme.

You will have Sara’s full support through these days via whats’ app.

How You Will be Supported on Days 9-10 and afterwards, following the residential programme:

On leaving the resdential programme, you will be given the special Ayurveda foods to support your journey home, so that you can keep to the programme.

On the morning after your arrival home, or the next morning after that,  you may choose to do an optional purgation with castor oil to eliminate from the gut all the toxins released from your deeper tissues during the programme.

Sara will then guide you with dietary after care.

You will be supported to continue with the detox and any other prescribed herbs for one month.

Sara will schedule a follow-up consultation with you (included in the programme fee) so that you can agree on dietary, lifestyle and herbal protocols that are going to support the build-up of the body’s strength and vitality for two months following the programme.

You will also be guided to integrate programme insights and newly-found postive mental-emotional states into your daily life in the months ahead.

“I’m feeling so much better and more energised….I feel reset and I’m looking forward to incorporating the practices and Ayurveda into my daily life”.

“.. (the programme) has reset me to make better choices. I am taking away some good practices to continue.”

“It has been fascinating to learn about Ayurveda with Sara. With her usual heart-felt and thorough delivery, she has demystified these ancient teachings and now some of the practices have become daily rituals which  feel totally natural to me”.

“I’m so grateful to have had, and continue to have, the opportunity to learn about and experience the Ayurveda diet, treatments and practices. Totally life-changing and enlightening”.

“Huge thanks to Sara for all her dedicated teaching, Learning to live in tune with the natural rhythms of life is a rather beautiful choice: inspiring guidance from  Sara in practical and more subtle ways”.

“I have greatly appreciated Sara’s sharing of Ayurveda wisdom and our relationship with Mother Nature and the seasons. I have realised Yoga isn’t a destination to get the postures right, it’s a journey into and between ourselves”.

I” am new to Ayurveda. I really appreciate the way Sara offered the teachings in a recent weekend retreat. The retreat went beyond didactic teaching as it was offered in a generous and knowledgeable manner. I was left feeling that I had an authentic taste of Ayurveda which has captured my curiosity to enquire futher. Thank you Sara for sharing your knowledge and experience of Ayurveda”.
